Unbeatable views

Camping at Vale Country Club

Our camping ground has unbeatable views. A particularly fine spot if you’re in the area to walk the Clwydian Range, especially the region’s highest peak, Moel Famau.

Once back from your hike, take a drive to Snowdonia National Park (about half an hour away).
While you’re over in Snowdonia, you might like to tackle Yr Wyddfa, bike trails or zipwires. If that all sounds a bit much, head north to the seaside with a drive of 40 minutes or so.

Historic Town of Ruthin

Got any more walking in your legs? It’s handy to know. You can walk to the town of Ruthin in about 20 minutes (along a road that’s got pavement all the way) – although you could also drive in 5 minutes.

Either way, there are plenty of places to eat and drink over there, plus takeaways and shops to pick up supplies for barbecue back at base.

Back at base, facilities include toilets, showers, with underfloor heating, outdoor pot washing facilities and free wifi.
